It was nice to hear from Marilyn and Dave about their trip to Georgia to visit the kids and spend quality time with Ethan. Needless to say with all the extra attention he was a bit of a handful for mom and dad once they were gone.
Anthony and Chelsea enjoyed a couple nights away in Orlando Florida to celebrate their anniversary, while Ethan had one-on-one time with grama & grandpa. Ethan is quite the little mimic which I'm sure kept them on their toes.
They were also in town for Chelsea's birthday on the 4th of July. She felt very special and spoiled with all of the attention. (Something we all enjoy and need now and then.)
The best part of the 4th of July for Chelsea is Sparklers. However Ethan has not yet gained that same appreciation. He was a bit fearful of the fire, as well as the loud bangs that were going off down the street.
Ethan got his haircut in style while sitting on the John Deer tractor. It seemed to keep him occupied most the time, though Anthony still had to move fast. What a cute little man.
Chelsea said that all the grandparents except me have enjoyed seeing their home and visiting them, so when it is a convenient time, I hope to have my turn. Maybe I'll be able to visit first thing next year...
